Members of North Pittsburgh Past Finders metal detecting club held a members only seeded hunt on April 14th at North Park in Allegheny County PA. Hotdogs and snacks supplied the energy needed for 20 members to hunt for treasure. This hunt is included in the club's annual membership cost.
A seeded hunt in the world of metal detecting is an exciting event where coins and other valuable targets are intentionally hidden just below the surface by a hunt master. NPPF members raced against each other to recover the hidden targets and handed them in for prizes. NPPF Metal Detecting Club is holding our next meeting on Monday May 6th at 7pm, at the North Hills United Presbyterian Church in Westview. We hope to see you there!
