NPPF metal detecting club WISHES EVERYONE A SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON AND A HAPPY 2023!As the week comes to an end, and the new year is in sight, NPPF would like to take a moment and thank our members, fans, followers, partners and sponsors for a great 2022. We rely on all of you to help support our club. Thank you for keeping us going whether it is through a donation, joining our club, word of mouth about what we do, sharing a post on social media, emailing for help locating an item, or allowing us to share our knowledge and skills with you- we thank you! NPPF is full of members young, old, and in -between, who all share the common interest in local history and trying to preserve the past so folks in the future can have some tangible pieces of history to help visualize what life was like " way back when". Before we know it, when folks talk about the past history, they will be talking about 2020s! With so much of the world digital, it is so important to keep finding and saving actual items that can be touched. Be on the lookout for NPPF in 2023! We will have a display case at the Shaler North Hills Library during the month of February, showcasing some great local history saves from our members. You may be surprised at how rich our local history is! We also are partnering with the library in the Spring to demonstrate the metal detector that they have on loan during the warmer months. If you are curious about NPPF, metal detecting, or even discovering what could be right under your feet, please reach out to us. We love sharing our excitement for our hobby. Have a wonderful Holiday Season, and a very Happy New Year! North Pittsburgh Past Finders. Digging in the Dirt to Preserve the Past. |
